Stuff we that enjoy about summer
As i write this its looking quite grim outisde, and the nights havent exactly warmed up this summer. While we hope and prey that the weather takes a turn for the better, heres some things we enjoy and love to do in summer.
- Pubs open up their beer gardens. I think we may all be in agreement on this one. Summer is when a pubs beer garden is opened up and you can go sit outside and enjoy a drink. Smokers more than anyone, benefit from a beer garden in the summer, as they wont be popping in and out every five minutes to have a cigarette because they are already outside. Can anything beat a cold beer whilst sitting outside with your friends in summer? I havent found such a thing yet.
- Festivals are on. we'll get to enjoy going away with our friends to festivals, having alot of beer and seeing bands that we've always wanted to see. And while this can mean your dealing with another few thousand people as well, it can mean meeting more friends. You'll eat tons of junk food, meet loads of new people and generally have a good time. It does have its drawbacks, no shower for afew days and the toilets are always horrible -A small price to pay? Maybe? everyone will come back with some pretty interesting stories of what happened, and how you have a great time. With Glastonbury, Reading, Bloodstock and download on, theres something to cater for everyones musical taste.
- Bbqs. Summer is a great time for you to hang out with people you havent seen in awhile by flipping a burger or two at a bbq. It gonna be a good time with your mates, no matter whose house its round.

How long does it take before an already cold beer explodes in the freezer?
I left some in my mothers freezer and I'm afraid to call her and tell her because they've been in there for a few hours already and I'm going over there tomorrow and if they've exploded already (i put them in around 3 pm and it's 9:30 pm) then I don't want her to see it. I can clean it out tomorrow myself. On the other hand, if I can stop them from exploding I will call her now and tell her about it. Anyone know how long it takes? Thanks
i put two twelve packs of beer in the freezer once when i had a party and forgot about all but two of them...i noticed them a few days later and not a damn one of them blew up...but they were frozen solid...so i think the beer will either push off the lid of spray out the top but not blow up like a can...ie: separate it was Amber-bock in glass bottles...you probably put cans in there huh.......NEVERMIND
