I just had sudden nose bleed. EWW Help.?

I have recently been trying to fight off acute bronchitis for some time now. Infection is quite gone as all phlegm is now clear always. Just the constant coughing, and congestion that likes to attempt to recycle even with the meds. Well, I have asthma to make mattes worse. I was in the middle of an asthma attack tonight, went to use my inhaler, next thing I know, major nose bleed. I have not had one of those since I was 3. What is this about? It was a really bad one. It seems like sense I have been taking prednisone, I have been having all these wierd things as: Salt retention, fatigue, my emotions are crazy, and today my face felt soo painful like it was swelling, now this sudden aweful nose bleed. What is wrong with me?? All the tests and x rays from the doctors office come back ok, and I'm healthy as a bone everywhere inside my body. What is going on here???Any advice??

Could be sinus infection/irritation on top of everything else. When you're on medication like you're on, you need to increase your fluid intake greatly to prevent drying of the mucosal membranes. Drink more noncarbonated drinks to help your body combat the dehydration it's experiencing and maybe consider buying a bedside humidifier to help; with all of your lung problems, it may benefit you to keep one by your bed at all times.
