I recently made my first batch of frozen yogurt, it looks like I didn't freeze the chamber correctly and it never set up correctly. I put the batch into a plastic bowl and froze it overnight, when I woke up in the morning it was sort of crystalline, more like a granita than soft and creamy yogurt. I was wondering if I could scoop it out and put it back in the machine (with a completely frozen chamber) and if It would churn it to a soft consistency? Anybody done this?

or you can do the following
easy blender frozen yogurt
Yield:
12 servings
Ingredients:
Envelope unflavored gelatin 1/2
;water, cold 1/4 c
;water, boiling 1 c
Instant nonfat dry milk 2/3 c
Powder or 1/2 c non-instant
Milk
Lowfat vanilla yogurt 8 oz
Salt 1/4 t
Can unsweetened frozen 6 oz
Orange juice concentrate,
Partially thawed
Preparation:
In blender, combine the gelatin and cold water. Wait one minute for the
gelatin to soften. Add the boiling water. Cover and blend on high speed
until all the gelatin granules are dissolved. Add the milk powder, yogurt,
salt and orange juice and blend smooth. Pour the mixture into a shallow
metal dish and freeze until slushy. Remove from the freezer and quickly
beat smooth. Return to the freezer and freeze firm. Allow the frozen yogurt
to soften briefly at room temperature before serving. Per serving:
Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
Start with frozen blueberries. Set the blender to ice chop and pulse until all of the blueberries are ground up finely. Pour the berries out into a bowl and add plain whole milk yogurt, on spoonful at a time. Blend the yogurt into the berries until it reaches the consistency of soft serve ice cream. The frozen berries will freeze the yogurt when it is added just enough to make it seem like it’s frozen. This should be sweet enough that you don’t need to add a sweetener. You can add sugar if you like,. It is full of rich antioxidants from the blueberries and protein and healthful bacteria from the yogurt.
Mango Frozen Yogurt
Blend frozen mango chunks on ice crush in the blender. Once the mango is in a fine powder you can pour it into a bowl and add yogurt. Stir together just until the mango is all evenly mixed together. Serve immediately. You can put this back in the freezer so it gets a little bit harder if you want to scoop it into ice cream cones instead of serving it in a bowl. Don’t leave it too long however or it will be hard to scoop.
Raspberry Frozen Yogurt
Use frozen raspberries. Repeat the same procedure as above. You may need to add some sweetener if the raspberries are very sour, or you can add another sweeter fruit, such as banana, or mango.
